Mark Harvold, associate architect with Jon Anderson Architecture, has led the design and management of a series of projects ranging from residential, commercial, to institutional. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Mark chose New Mexico for its timeless cultural landscape as the framework to practice architecture. He has studied the dichotomy and interface between urban and rural environments that exist in and around American cities. He is diligent to offer seamless architectural landscape solutions that draw inspiration from the surrounding physical, cultural, and social context. Mark practices with the belief that architects should maintain authorship of the design process over the mere object. He endeavors to test, understand, and put this philosophy into practice on a daily basis at Jon Anderson Architecture.
