This building was originally built as a boat sales and service showroom in 1993. In 2002 the Sandia Automotive group purchased the site and JAA was hired to convert the building to house the Sandia BMW Dealership. In 2017 this extensive remodel reworked perimeter openings and finishes and added a 6000 sf two-story parts department and elevator.
The recent remodel changed all interior and exterior finishes, and upgraded the glass, storefront framing and exterior doors. The work also included the addition of an overhang above the glass, an extension of the service canopy and the enclosure of the Service Reception area. On the interior, new mechanical, electrical and data systems were installed. A new suspended ceiling was hung below the exposed structure and all interior finishes were re-done. The furniture and fixtures are all new along with up-graded BMW displays.
This remodel upgraded the finishes, technology and comfort of this building and incorporated all of the new BMW Corporate design elements and signage.
