January 30, 2021
Our recently completed Education Collaborative Building
for Central New Mexico Community College has achieved LEED silver certification. A variety of performance and sustainability features qualified the facility for this rating, notably the design features a rooftop photovoltaic system, solar shading fins, electric car charging stations, and several outdoor learning terraces. From the LEED
website: "Today people know that if they are in a LEED-certified building they are using less energy and water, avoiding waste, saving on maintenance costs, improving indoor air quality, offering comfort to their occupants, and creating less environmental burden on their community."
